Next Level Growth

The Fit Life Newsletter!

Financially and Physically Fit. Grounded in Faith.

What Got You Here Will Not Get You There

Last week, we talked about expanding your capacity by pushing past your limits, expecting more from yourself, and breaking out of the mindset that keeps you stuck. Manby of you took that challenge seriously, and you felt the shift. You added more reps, took bold financial steps, and stretched your faith in new ways.

But here’s the truth: Growth is not a one time event. It’s a lifestyle.

You don’t level up once and call it a day. You push, you adapt, and then you push again. Because what got you to this point will not get you to the next one. If you want to break through to the next level in your fitness, finances, and faith, you have to commit to even more. More discipline. More focus. More intention.

It’s time to accelerate. To hit the gas pedal. Hard.

This week, we’re not maintaining—we’re advancing. You have built some momentum, now its time to take it to the next level. No backing down. No settling in. No getting comfortable.

Strengthen Your Mind, Strengthen Your Body

Last week, I challenged you to push beyond what felt comfortable… to add more reps, run a little farther, test your endurance. That was step one. This week, we take it deeper: mental conditioning.

The greatest athletes, strongest competitors, and most resilient people don’t just train their bodies. They train their minds to expect more, to push past pain, to override the voice that says, “I can’t. I won’t. I’m not. I don’t.”

Here is how you do it:

  1. Embrace discomfort. When you feel tired, do one more. Push when your brain says stop. That’s where the real growth happens. You know it’s going to get hard. Be ready.
  2. Talk to yourself differently. Instead of “I’m exhausted,” say “I’m getting stronger.” Instead of “This is too hard,” say “I do hard things.”
  3. Make your commitment a guarantee. Schedule your workouts and honor them like any other important appointment. No cancelations. Show up ready.

Our Takeaway: Choose one workout this week that causes you to push harder physically than you ever have before. Break through your mental limits. Feel what’s possible. Journal the result.

Multiply Your Effort

Last week, I asked you to expand your financial capacity: to earn more, invest more, and take control of your future. If you made a move in that direction, congrats. But now it’s time to multiply your effort.

Would you like to know the difference between people who achieve financial freedom and those who struggle? They don’t stop once they have made a good financial decision. They stack them.

Here is how to accelerate your financial growth:

  1. Increase the amount of money you are saving. Maybe you have started putting some money aside. This week, it is time to double it. Even if it’s small, show yourself you can stretch.
  2. Take immediate action on investing. If you’ve been thinking about investing, or wanting to get started. Stop thinking and start doing. Open the account. Make the move.
  3. Expand your income streams. If you’re relying on one income source, it’s time to diversify. Start the side hustle you’ve always wanted to or build a skill.

Our Takeaway: Whatever financial action you’ve been avoiding, take action. Do the thing that makes you uncomfortable but will move you forward.

Grounded in Faith: Be Bold

Bible Verse:“For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and self-control.” – 2 Timothy 1:7

Last week, I asked you to pray bigger and step out in faith. This week, I’m asking you to trust God like never before.

Fear is the enemy of action. If you’re waiting for a sign, for absolute certainty before moving forward, you’ll stay stuck forever. Faith requires movement.

How do you live boldly?

  1. Stop waiting for perfect conditions. They’ll never come. Move forward in faith now.
  2. Pray and act at the same time. Don’t just pray for an opportunity, prepare for it.
  3. Speak what you believe. Stop saying, “I hope this works out” and start declaring, “God will make a way.”

Our Takeaway: Your faith will change everything about your life. If you’ve been hesitating on something relating to faith, please take action. Make the decision. Step forward in trust.

WOD: Take Action!

  1. Physical: Choose one workout this week where you push harder than ever before. Test your limits.
  2. Financial: Take immediate action on a financial move you’ve been putting off.
  3. Spiritual: Step into boldness and trust God as you take action on something He’s calling you to do.

Before We Go: Don’t Back Down

This is where most people stop. When things get tough, when the initial excitement fades, they retreat to comfort.

But not you.

You are not like most people. You are here to improve. To grow. To expand. To push.

Do not back down now. You’ve started this journey, now take it to the next level. Keep pressing. Keep advancing. Be the best version of yourself today and grow into an even better version of yourself tomorrow.
